Budget smartphone manufacturer Itel is expanding its device lineup in India with the announcement of two upcoming handsets: the Itel Zeno 100 Pro and the Itel Zeno 100 Lite. Dedicated teaser microsites for both smartphones have officially gone live on Amazon India, offering an early look at their designs and core feature sets. These new additions build upon the brand’s strategy of delivering feature-rich, durable smartphones catered to budget-conscious users.
The main spotlight belongs to the Itel Zeno 100 Pro, which is confirmed to officially launch in India on July 16, 2026. Positioned as a rugged daily driver, the handset features a redesigned back panel with a prominent camera module housing dual rear camera sensors and an LED flash. Itel is marketing the Pro variant as a tough alternative built specifically for consumers needing enhanced physical reliability during everyday use.
In terms of build and functionality, the Zeno 100 Pro boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification along with specialized heat and drop resistance. Teasers on Amazon highlight a "Point and Tap Control Connectivity" feature, indicating the inclusion of an IR blaster that allows users to control household appliances like TVs and air conditioners directly from the phone. The device is also expected to incorporate AI-backed camera enhancements and long-range connectivity options.
Alongside the Pro model, the company has teased the Itel Zeno 100 Lite with a "coming soon" status. Although a specific release date for the Lite model has not been finalized, industry expectations suggest it could launch alongside or shortly after the Pro version. Advertised as one of the brand's most affordable options, the Lite model is designed to provide entry-level buyers with modern smartphone capabilities at an aggressive price point.
Key specifications for the Itel Zeno 100 Lite have already been revealed via its Amazon landing page, confirming a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a substantial 5,000mAh battery aimed at delivering all-day battery life, complemented by DTS-tuned audio speakers for enhanced media playback. It also inherits military-grade durability testing and includes a USB Type-C charging port.
This double rollout follows the initial launch of the original Itel Zeno 100, which introduced the series' focus on durability and essential performance in the ultra-budget category. By segmenting the lineup into Pro and Lite models, Itel aims to address a broader spectrum of consumers, ranging from buyers who prioritize added features like IR blasters to those looking for maximum affordability.
With official landing pages active on Amazon India, both models are set to be available online following their release. Full pricing structures, memory configurations, and prospective sale dates are expected to be fully disclosed during the July 16 event.
